Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the people who operate Avuril ("Avuril," "we," "us"). Questions go to support@avuril.com.

Agreement

By visiting avuril.com, creating an account, paying for Reserve, publishing a page, connecting an AI assistant, or using Consultancy, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Risk Disclosure, and Refund Policy. Together they are the whole agreement. If you do not agree, do not use Avuril.

You must be an adult who can enter a contract, and you must be allowed to act for the business you publish. If you accept for a business, you accept for that business too. Avuril is a tool for running a business. You use it for your business, not as a consumer.

The service

Avuril helps the owner of a small physical business publish the facts about it and keep an eye on what changes around it. Reserve, our one paid plan, currently includes:

• Your page. You type your hours, prices, and how to book. We publish those facts as a page people can open, a file AI assistants can read, and text you can paste onto your own site.
• Direct lookup. AI assistants connected to Avuril can ask for the facts you published.
• Poster and Verified label. A printable poster with a code to your page, and a label that shows the date you last confirmed your facts.
• Reviews and Nearby Events. Boards that show your Google rating and reviews, and public events, holidays, and weather near your map pin.
• Weekly fact watch. In-app notices when an offer ends or your facts have not been confirmed for a while.
• Consultancy and priority support. A private chat with people at Avuril, described below.

What Reserve includes is what the pricing page describes at the time you pay. An account that has not paid can look at sample screens. Samples are made up and are not saved.

Avuril does not book, order, sell, or take payment on your behalf. Avuril does not visit, scan, or change your website, your booking system, or your listings elsewhere.

Consultancy

When you use Consultancy, you also accept that:

• We help with questions about your page and about running your business, such as staff, customers, pricing, and slow weeks. Replies are general and based only on what you tell us. We do not inspect your business, your books, or your premises.
• We do not give legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, insurance, employment-law, or medical advice. No professional or fiduciary relationship is created by a chat with us.
• You decide whether and how to act on a reply. You are responsible for checking anything important with a qualified professional before you act.
• Avuril is not responsible for any outcome of a decision you make, including lost money, lost staff, lost customers, disputes, fines, or harm to your business, whether or not you followed our reply.
• Reply times, including the 24-hour priority support target, are aims, not guarantees. We may decline a question, limit how many messages or files you send, or close a conversation.
• Do not send passwords, card numbers, health information, or other people's private information. How long we keep chats is set out in the Privacy Policy.

What we do not promise

We cannot promise that Avuril will bring you customers, and we do not. A person decides whether to ask an AI assistant, which business the assistant names, and whether to visit, call, or book. We control none of those. In particular, we do not promise that:

• an AI assistant, search engine, or map will find, name, rank, or recommend your business;
• anyone will visit, call, book, or buy;
• your sales, reviews, or rating will improve; or
• any event, holiday, or weather on the Nearby Events board will bring or keep away customers.

Information from other services

Reviews come from Google. Events come from Ticketmaster, holidays from Nager.Date, and weather from MET Norway. AI assistants are run by their own companies. We show that information as we receive it. It can be late, incomplete, or wrong, and we are not responsible for it or for what those services do. Avuril is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them, and their names belong to them.

The Verified label means the owner confirmed the facts on the date shown. Avuril does not independently check a business, its licences, its prices, or the quality of its work.

Accounts

You are responsible for your sign-in and for everything done with your account. Tell us at support@avuril.com if you think someone else is using it.

What you publish

You keep ownership of the facts, photos, and links you submit. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, copy, format, and publish them as part of the service, including on your public page, in the files AI assistants read, and in answers to direct lookups, for as long as they are published and for a reasonable time after.

You are responsible for what you publish. It must be true, current, legal, and yours to publish. We may remove or hide anything we believe breaks these terms, without notice.

Plans and payment

Reserve is one payment, taken through our payment provider. The price and any taxes are shown before you pay. There is no renewal and no monthly bill. The payment covers Reserve for as long as we offer it. It is not a promise that Avuril, or any feature, will run for a fixed period.

Refunds are described in the Refund Policy. You may ask for a full refund within 7 days of the payment. If a payment fails, is refunded, or is disputed, Reserve may end and your pages may go offline.

We may change prices, offers, features, and plan limits. A later change does not add a charge to a payment already taken.

Acceptable use

Use Avuril only as the Acceptable Use Policy allows.

Our software

Avuril owns the service, the software, the design, and the Avuril name. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business while these terms are in effect. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer it, except where the law does not allow that limit. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely.

Disclaimers

Avuril, including Consultancy, is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim every warranty, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that it will produce any result.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, Avuril and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost customers, bookings, sales, profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities. This applies to the service, to Consultancy and any decision you make after it, to information from other services, and to what any AI assistant or person decides to do, even if we were told such a loss was possible.

If we are liable for anything, the most we owe for all claims together is the amount you paid us for Avuril in the three months before the event that led to the claim. If you paid nothing in that time, that amount is nothing.

Some laws do not allow these limits. Where that is so, they apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing here removes a right the law says cannot be removed.

Your responsibility to us

You will defend and cover Avuril and the people who run it against any claim, loss, or cost, including reasonable legal fees, that comes from what you publish, how you run your business, decisions you make after Consultancy, or your breach of these terms or the law.

Disputes

If you have a problem with Avuril, email support@avuril.com first and give us 30 days to put it right before you bring any formal claim.

To the fullest extent the law allows, any claim must be brought by you individually, not as a member of a class, group, or representative action, and must be brought within one year of the event that led to it, or it is waived.

Stopping the service

You may stop using Avuril at any time. We may suspend or close an account, remove a page, or end Consultancy for an account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if continuing would put the service or other people at risk. We may also change or stop Avuril, or any part of it. If we stop Avuril entirely, we will try to tell you in advance. The sections on Consultancy, your content, disclaimers, limits, your responsibility to us, disputes, and general terms still apply after that.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in the product before it applies. If you keep using Avuril after that, you accept the update.

General

If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce a part, we have not given it up. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages at a provider we rely on. We may transfer this agreement if the business changes hands. You may not transfer your account without our permission. We may send notices to the email on your account.
